Agri-Based Livelihood Support
Farming continues to be the mainstay of rural livelihoods, yet falling incomes and climate risks drive many away. Damooga Foundation’s Agri-Based Livelihood Support program helps marginal farmers, women, and landless laborers build secure income through agro-innovation.
This includes distributing high-yield seeds, mini tools, polyhouse kits, and soil-testing services. Farmers are guided in kitchen gardening, integrated pest management, organic certification, and market linkages for their produce.
Group-based production models like mushroom cultivation, herbal plantations, and millet processing units are also supported. SHGs and youth clubs play a key role in enterprise setup and financial literacy.
By investing in farming families, this initiative cultivates dignity, stability, and growth.
